THE VISION OF OUR CHURCH
JESUS IS LORD Outreach Center is a Bible believing church emphasizing praise and worship, teaching the uncompromised Word of God, flowing in the gifts of the Holy Spirit, and reaching out to others in love. It is a ministering church where we minister the power of God to meet the needs of those within the church as well as reaching out to those outside our fellowship.

The Lord is raising up a remnant who are hearers and doers of the Word. In today's churches, a small percentage of the people do all of the work; but here, we encourage all believers to fulfill the call of God and do the work of the ministry. We provide opportunities for all to minister in the church according to their gifts, abilities, and maturity in the Lord.

Jesus directs us in the Word of God to do the same works that He did. We obey him and do the works of God by witnessing to the unsaved, casting out demons, healing the sick, and breaking the strongholds of the enemy through all manner of prayer. As we give out to meet the need of another, the Lord gives back to us to meet our needs as well. When we obey what the Lord calls us to do, then we are fulfilled and blessed as Christians!

PRAISE AND WORSHIP

"Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, . . . come before His presence with singing.. . . Enter into His gates with thanksgiving and into His courts with praise." (Ps. 100)

"But the hour cometh and now is when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth, for the Father seeketh such to worship Him. God is a spirit and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth." (Jn. 4:23-24)

As born-again children of God, we are now a holy priesthood. As priests of God, we "offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God by Jesus Christ." In Heb. 13:15, we are exhorted to "offer the sacrifice of praise continually . . . giving thanks to His name."

Our New Testament praise and worship is the prophesied restoration of the tabernacle of David in which there was continuous praise and worship to the Lord through joyful singing, clapping, lifting of the hands, shouting, dancing, and playing of musical instruments. Thus, we openly praise and worship the Lord in spiritual reality in obedience to the Word of God.

WE STAND TO SING

"And to stand every morning to thank and praise the Lord and likewise at even." (1 Chr. 23:30)
"Stand up and bless the Lord your God." (Ne. 9:5)

WE PRAISE WITH OUR MOUTH VOCALLY

"I will bless the Lord at all times: His praise shall continually be in my mouth." (Ps. 34:1)
"My mouth shall praise Thee with joyful lips." (Ps. 63:5)

WE PRAISE WITH MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS

"Praise Him with the sound of the trumpet . . . with the psaltery and harp . . . with the timbrel and dance . . . with stringed instruments and organs . . . upon the loud cymbals . . . upon the high sounding cymbals." (Ps. 150:3-5)

WE CLAP OUR HANDS

"O clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with the voice of triumph." (Ps. 47:1)

WE LIFT UP OUR HANDS

"Lift up your hands in the sanctuary and bless the Lord." (Ps. 134:2) "My lips shall praise Thee, thus will I bless Thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in Thy name." (Ps. 63:3,4)

WE SHOUT UNTO GOD

"Shout unto God with the voice of triumph." (Ps. 47:1)
"And all the people shouted with a great shout when they praised the Lord, . . . many shouted aloud for joy . . . for the people shouted with a loud shout, . . . " (Ez. 3:11-13)

WE DANCE BEFORE THE LORD

            "Praise His name in the dance . . . ." (Ps. 149:3)
"Praise Him with the timbrel and dance . . . ." (Ps. 150:4)
"And David danced before the Lord with all his might." (2 Sam. 6:14)

WE BOW DOWN IN WORSHIP

"O come let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the Lord our maker." (Ps. 95:6)

WE SING WITH OUR SPIRIT IN TONGUES

"I will pray with the spirit, . . . I will sing with the spirit, . . . For if I pray in an unknown tongue, my spirit prayeth, but my understanding is unfruitful." (1 Cor. 14:15,14)

When we praise and worship the Lord, He is enthroned in our midst through our praises. The glory of God fills the temple. Often, the Lord will then speak to the congregation through prophecy or by tongues and interpretation of tongues to edify, exhort, and comfort the church. Gifts of revelation and power come forth, and prophets in the church stand and speak by revelation of the Holy Spirit to the people.

We invite you to enter into praise and worship with all that is within you that you may experience the presence of the Lord and receive the ministry of the Holy Spirit.

HEALING, DELIVERANCE, & COUNSELING

"And these signs shall follow them that believe: in My name shall they cast out devils, . . . they shall lay hands on the sick and they shall recover." (Mk. 16:17,18)

Several years ago, the Lord gave us the vision of a daily healing center. In January of 1987, that vision became a reality. Since the opening, we have seen the Lord work many miracles through healing and deliverance in hundreds of believers' lives. Through casting out demons and releasing the healing power of God, people have been healed of heart problems, cancer, arthritis, high blood pressure, tumors, allergies, and many other physical infirmities. We have also seen believers delivered from depression, fear, discouragement, insecurity, mental and emotional oppression, rejection, rebellion, gluttony, sexual impurity, alcoholism, et cetera.

We have found that every believer in Christ needs deliverance and healing. Demonic bondages are present in all of us primarily through inherited curses from the sins of the fathers visited upon the children, through open doors during childhood, and through our personal sins. Through deliverance and healing, the Lord can change all areas of an individual's life. As we cast out demons and minister healing, believers are set free with the ultimate goal that they may serve the Lord in holiness and righteousness and do the works of Jesus.

Pastor Middleton personally supervises the daily ministry. Each believer who desires personal ministry makes an appointment with the pastor to determine their specific areas of need. During the appointment, the pastor will explain healing and deliverance, answer questions, and offer the believer a scriptural program designed to enable him to stay free after deliverance. Then, the pastor will begin to minister to the individual personally through healing and deliverance. The pastor and other qualified workers continue to minister to each individual on a regular basis until they are free. As the believer goes through personal ministry, he learns how to minister to himself and to others as well.

If you desire an appointment for counseling, healing, or deliverance, contact the pastor at 602-279-5212. Through this kind of ministry, the Lord will set you free and enable you to be fruitful in your walk with the Lord.

OUTREACH MINISTRIES

"And He said unto them, 'Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.' " (Mk. 16:15)

We have a vision to reach out beyond the four walls of the church building and do the works of God. How can one have faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and call on Him as his Savior if he has not heard the Word of God? How can the sick be healed and the oppressed be delivered unless they hear the truth concerning healing and deliverance? Thus, we go forth aggressively and share the full gospel to win the lost, heal the sick, cast out demons, and set the oppressed free through the name of Jesus.

We reach out in many specific areas. We go door to door distributing gospel fliers and share the full gospel message. We go to hospitals to minister to the sick. We visit and write those in prison to direct them to the only real hope which is Jesus Christ. We reach out to the poor and give food, clothing, and money to help meet their needs. We encourage all the believers here to witness, pass out tracts, and let their light shine out to a lost and dying world. We also reach out to minister to the needs of other believers in other churches.

The love of God compels us to reach out to others. We must be doers of the Word and not hearers only, and do the will of God. Get involved in ministering to the needs of others!

INTERCESSION

"The kingdom (rule and reign) of the heavens is being invaded, and the invaders are seizing upon it." (Mt. 11:12 - Rotherham)

"For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." (Eph. 6:12)

Intercession is of primary importance to win the battle in the spiritual realm. Intercessory prayer activates the angels of God to war against the forces of Satan, and casts them down out of the heavenlies from their position of authority and influence. The Lord looks for intercessors who will stand in the gap and engage in spiritual warfare.

Because intercession must be a priority in the life of every believer, you need to established an hour of prayer daily.

Come and get involved in pulling down the strongholds of the enemy, repairing the breach, and restoring the paths to dwell in through prayer. As you give yourself to prayer, you will develop a close personal relationship with the Lord and be used of Him to accomplish His will in the earth.

FELLOWSHIP

"And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread and in prayers . . . And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, praising God, and having favor with all the people." (Acts 2:42,46,47)

New Testament fellowship consists of believers fellowshipping around Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. As we join together in praising God, prayer to God to release His power, ministering healing and deliverance to one another, and witnessing and doing the works of God, we really enjoy true Christian fellowship. Even though we have diverse backgrounds and interests, our common goal is to serve Jesus and exalt Him as our Master.

Thus, we daily follow Him by prayer, praise, ministering healing and deliverance, counseling, encouraging, building up one another, and witnessing for the Lord. From time to time, we fellowship by having church dinners, parties, and various activities. As we lift up Jesus in one accord and do His works in His name, we have rich fellowship with one another in the Lord.

CHILDREN'S MINISTRY

"And all thy children shall be taught of the Lord, and great shall be the peace of thy children." (Isa. 54:13)

All of our children are very important to us here. We recognize our responsibility to assist the parents in teaching and training their children in the Word of God. We have teachers and workers who have a love for children and are called to minister to them.

There is a nursery open at every worship service to care for children up to three years old. Our nursery is staffed by loving, spirit-filled workers who minister to the children as well as care for them.

Children ages four and up praise and worship the Lord with the adults during the first half of the service. When the praise and worship is over, the children and the youth are dismissed to their respective classes for teaching of the Word of God. Our children and youth are taught and trained in the same Bible principles as the adults, only by different methods which minster to the specific needs of each child.

AN EXHORTATION FOR ALL

The gospel of Jesus Christ is good news for you. It is the gospel of the kingdom of God. Through Jesus Christ, you can reign over all the works of your adversary, the devil.

To you who have not been born again yet, receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Through Jesus Christ, you receive eternal life. Where you spend eternity is the most important consideration of your life. When you make Jesus Christ your personal Lord and Savior and you follow Him, you will go to heaven and be with the Lord forever. If you reject Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you will go to hell. Hell is a real place in the center of the earth where there is incomparable pain and horrible torment like no one has ever experienced on earth. It will be your destination when you die if Jesus is not your Lord. Do not form your opinion of Jesus from what others have said and taught. Read the Bible, the Word of God, and believe the gospel. Do not follow false religions that make you think that there is another way to salvation other than Jesus. There is no other way. Jesus is the only way. You must receive Him as your Lord and Savior. Do not think that you will go to heaven because of your works. All have sinned and come short of the glory of God. You need a Savior. You cannot save yourself. You being a good moral person won't get you into heaven either. Do not think that God wouldn't let you go to hell. He has given us all a free will. We can choose life or death. He will let you choose your way. If you reject Jesus, you have rejected God's way, and you will have chosen the way to eternal torment. Submit your life to God, receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, and follow Him!

To you who are born again, walk in line with the Word of God. Do not walk with one foot in God and one foot in the world. You are to be separate from the world. The world is run by Satan, the god of this world. Do not be conformed to worldly ways. Deal with every area of sin in your life including those secret sins that only God knows. Repent and turn away from them. God will not wink at sin. You will be held accountable for every deed you do in your body. Walk in holiness. The Lord is coming back for a church without spot or wrinkle. Stay away from anything that contaminates your walk in Christ. You cannot be lukewarm. You are not your own, for you are bought with a price, the blood of Jesus. You must be hot for God. The lukewarm will be spewed out of His mouth. The Lord knows your works. What kind of works do you have? Do you serve the Lord or do you serve self? Decide to serve the Lord. Be steadfast in the work of the Lord. Cast out demons, heal the sick, and release the power of God. As you do the works of God, you will be rewarded. If you walk in the flesh, you will not possess your inheritance. You must walk by faith. Use your faith to remove mountains and receive from the Lord. You must walk in love. Put away all strife, anger, bitterness, and unforgiveness. Put off the old man and put on the new man. Be a hearer and a doer of the Word of God. If you don't, you deceive yourself. There are many deceiving spirits that have gone out in the earth and there are more to come in these last days. Be wise and do not give place to the devil. Be a witness for the Lord. Overcome the fear of man, preach the Word to all, and fulfill your ministry. Don't let the blood of others be upon your hands. Do not compromise your walk with the Lord. Do not be lazy or slothful. Put away your pride. Humble yourself in the sight of the Lord. Do not let corrupt communication come out of your mouth but speak in line with the Word. Make your mouth work for you. Take your thoughts captive and think on good things. Believe the best of every person. Judge not lest ye be judged. Walk in the fear of the Lord and get your heart right before God. Watch what you hear. Guard your heart. Bridle your tongue so you don't deceive your heart. Deal with yourself and quit looking at others' faults. Keep your eyes on the Lord. Rejoice in the Lord always. Do not let your soul be cast down. Get your prayer life together. Pray for an hour a day. Do not worry or be full of care. Grow up in the Lord and be changed into His likeness. Seek the Lord with all your heart. Praise the Lord continually. Be bold, strong, and confident in the Lord. Deny yourself. Be zealous for God. Learn to instantly obey the voice of the Holy Spirit.
